i want, i want, i want . . .

I have been on quite the sweater kick lately.
Christmas sweaters, sweaters with animals on them, bulky sweaters. I love them all.

So . . . if I were rich, or had Taylor Swift's wardrobe, I could buy even more sweaters.

But, for now, I shall drool over pretty things on my computer screen.

black friday.

I guess I am not the normal Black Friday shopper, as I get up at 7:45 am to go the mall with my mom, aunt, and grandma. I don't go out at midnight to try and buy a TV, or something ridiculous from Best Buy . . .

When I get to the mall, I don't always have a plan. This year, I wasn't really looking for anything in particular. I already knew everything I wanted for myself and how much it was going to cost. So when I had some time to actually look for myself in stores today, my family gave me crazy looks over the things I considered pretty.

Yes, I have expensive taste. No, I do not have bad taste. I know what looks good and what is in style. My family, on the other hand, does not understand most of the time (especially this season). It is going to be even harder to explain to them why I want a career in the fashion world . . .

So, here is the short Christmas list I had made this year before going shopping:

My aunt always told me the older I get, the less things I will have on my list and the more expensive they will be. She was right there. And they are smaller too . . . At least these are things of which I would get a lot of use.

And who knows, maybe my family will understand my style and my Christmas list will consist of 'crazier' (statement) pieces someday. Maybe. Just maybe . . .

beginnings.

Dear fashonistas, friends, and fellow bloggers,

I have been meaning to start this blog for a year now.

I have a tumblr with a stream of photos related to fashion, but I had yet to make a more complete fashion blog.

Well, here's to adventures in fashion, potential style disasters, thrifting, and trying to make time for this blog.
